Using low-octane gasoline can lead to engine knocking, resulting in suboptimal performance. Similarly, the engine’s high compression can lead to elevated temperatures, which poses challenges for the engine oil. Consequently, some Nissan Grand Livina vehicles experience issues with sludgy oil. “Pay attention to the condition of the oil when filling it, make sure it’s not crusty or sludgy. Delayed oil changes often lead to sludgy engine oil in these cars, which is not healthy,” Taufan explained.
