including two in critical condition, according to local health authorities. Makhachkala is one of several areas in the north Caucasus region that is home to a large Muslim community.
The video circulating shows most of the youth waving the Palestinian flag. They broke through the glass doors and ran through the airport shouting “Allahu Akbar” or “God is the greatest”. Another group outside rocked a white truck with the patrol service’s initials in Russian.
Russian aviation authority Rosaviatsia’s security forces dispersed the group at 22.20 Moscow time (19.20 GMT). According to security forces, the passengers on the plane were in a safe place.
Over the past day, a Jewish center under construction in Nalchik, the capital of Russia’s Kabardino-Balkaria Republic, was also set on fire. Rosaviatsia said the airport would remain closed until November 6, 2023.

Israel urged Russia to protect its citizens and Jews on its territory following the report.

The Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem said Israel’s ambassador in Moscow was cooperating with Russian authorities.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he was shocked by the events in Dagestan. He blamed Russia’s official messaging about Israel.
Social media footage showed some protesters trying to approach the plane, but passengers remained safe on board. An identification number on the tail of the plane indicated the flight had just arrived from Israel, according to flight tracking site FlightRadar24.
