Tired of everyone telling you what to look for in a friendship or dating relationship? Are you wondering if it's time to start deciding for yourself what makes a good friend or true love, and what are the signs of relationship disaster? This interactive workshop includes an activity for teens to explore these issues.

Teen Dating Abuse: What every parent should know.
Estimated time: 1 Hour

Research suggests that as many as 1 out of 4 teens will be in an abusive relationship. The increasing prevalence of dating abuse in teen relationships often comes as a shock to adults. This workshop will help parents to:
Learn what red flags to be aware of with your teen's relationships
How to support teens in hurtful relationships
Know resources that are available for abused teens or abusive teens
Receive lists of books, websites and films to learn more about the topic of teen dating abuse.

Media Images: What makes a "real" man or woman?
Estimated time: 1 hour

What do images of guys and girls in ads tell YOU about what a "real man" or "real woman" should be? This fun interactive workshop for teens explores how ads affect how we feel about ourselves and dating partners. What do girls and guys really want from someone they date? Join us to find out!

Domestic Abuse & the Cycle of Violence
Estimated time: 1—1 1/2 Hours

What is domestic abuse and how does it impact my community.  During this training we will talk about the facts and challenge the myths around domestic abuse.  We will also talk about what you can do to support friends, family members and colleagues who have experienced domestic abuse.
